What will you be doing?

As our Fundraising Coordinator (Advancement Associate), you will be responsible for performing confidential administrative work for the Advancement team, ensuring our donor database is accurate and up to date, supporting special events, and drafting communications to donors that show them how their funds are helping us deliver on our mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place!

Every day, the Fundraising Coordinator will enter data into the donor database, record donor activity, prepare correspondence, and process mail. Every week, you will run reports, prepare requests for payment, and organize a variety of documents. You will also meet with your supervisor and colleagues to receive guidance related to grants, special events, donor communications and more. At least monthly, you will update a calendar, process expense reimbursements and reconcile credit card transactions. The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for working in a variety of systems including grant reporting systems, silent auction systems (OneCause), budget systems (Abila), donor databases (DonorPerfect), and more. To thrive in this role, you must enjoy working in a support role, be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and able to recognize when to escalate issues for assistance so that deadlines are still met.

 

The Fundraising Coordinator reports to the Director of Advancement and joins a team consisting of an Events Manager, Grants Manager and Advancement Officer (who is the head of the department).

What else will you need?

A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. Three years' recent, relevant experience is required. Ability to type at least 34 words per minute with 88% is accuracy is required. Working knowledge of Donor Perfect, moves management, or similar systems is preferred. Bilingual (Spanish or French) is preferred.

What will you get?

The hiring range for the Fundraising Coordinator role is $20.18 - $22.25 per hour.

This is a non-exempt, benefitted, in-based Fundraising Coordinator position located in our Lake Worth Headquarters. Office hours for our four-day workweek are Monday- Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. with a half hour lunch; occasional evening and weekend hours may be required to meet business needs. Following the 60 Day Introductory Period, eligible team members may participate in our Office Optional Monday program with supervisor approval. The Office Optional Monday program provides team members with an opportunity to work from home on Mondays.
