Description
The Black Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County will be hosting our first annual Palm Beach MLK 5K on Saturday, May 7, 2022 in Riviera Beach. This will be a grand event bringing together a diverse group of health-minded individuals and organizations as we address socioeconomic and health disparities.
The MLK 5K will incorporate several events including a 100 Yard Kids Dash, a 300 Yard Kids Fun Run, an untimed 1-mile Fitness Walk/Run, and timed 5K and 10K Challenge Walk/Runs. There will also be a Health & Fitness Village where visitors can receive health screenings, massages and information from our partners and vendors.
In order to make this day a success we are hiring a professional race organizer and will be recruiting dozens of volunteers for the day of the event. We are also partnering with the Riviera Beach Police and Parks & Recreation departments.
