Speaker:
Mark G. Brown Sr., President of IDentity Theft Business Solutions, Inc., will be leading the discussion on Cyber Security, drawing from his wealth of expertise and experience in the field.
Speaker Bio
In 1986, Mr. Brown received his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. His professional career began in 1987, when he became the first African American to be employed by the Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA) in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. During his eighteen (18) year tenure at the PGA, Mr. Brown managed information technology for the PGA Headquarters as well as its forty-one (41) regional offices. Among other accolades, Mr. Brown most notably was responsible for the design, development and implementation of the largest data exchange and collaboration system in the history of the organization. These systems still run PGA events and operations nationwide today. As an expert in information systems and a certified data security specialist, Mr. Brown later opened his own privacy management firm, IDentity Theft Business Solutions, Inc. (IDTBS) in 2004. Just as he did in the corporate world, Mr. Brown excelled in his field and has one of the largest government entities in the county as a client.
Personally. Mr. Brown is a native of Long Island, New York. Mr. Brown is the father of four boys and a proud grandfather of two. Mr. Brown is a full-time dad and proud to say his first three boys have all earned athletic scholarships to play ball at the collegiate level. Two of which, have completed and graduated college and have become an entrepreneur and a police officer in Palm Beach County. Through the lens of fatherhood, Mr. Brown has also become mentor and advocate for youth. As such, in 2009 Mr. Brown founded the Student and Athlete Mentoring Program (STAMP), a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. The mission of STAMP is to develop the leadership mindset in youth and young adults through the lens of mentorship and athletics. Mr. Brown happily donates his time and resources to community youth programs in Palm Beach County and wants nothing more than to see every child succeed.
To-date, IDTBS is a top-tier Privacy Management Firm that provides privacy compliance solutions to companies throughout the U.S. IDTBS provides the most robust legal and identity theft protection and restoration product in the marketplace. IDTBS specializes in educating the workforce on company and personal data protection strategies, as well as and privacy law compliance. Mr. Brown has received many accolades including the 2019 “Men of Standards” award as well as the prestigious Project 12 honor, of 2022, a project that identifies and selects some of the most influential leaders in Palm Beach County.
